In early July 2025, music artist LaSalle Grandeur reached out to me and asked if I would be interested in working with him on his upcoming single “I’ll Always Love You” which was set to release mid July. The cover art for this single was already completed, so LaSalle wanted me to dip into my skills as a photographer & videographer to help capture photo & video content that he could release in tandem with the song release!

We were able to secure a studio in Chicago called Dodd Camera & had access to some incredible lighting to really get the look we were aiming for. This was one of the first times I was able to photograph in a full-scale studio with any lighting that I needed. The result? Absolutely incredible art. We got some phenomenal photos in different lighting setups, outfits, etc. We also got to experiment with other environmental aspects of the shoot by using a fog machine, a star filter, and low shutter speed in camera. The goal for our video content as well was to capture great video of LaSalle performing the song himself he could use it to promote his song!
