Official DON’T BE DUMB Cover by Tim Burton
By far the biggest opportunity of my career so far, I was asked in late 2025 by A$AP Rocky’s team if I would be willing to allow them to use my images for A$AP Rocky’s DON’T BE DUMB project with director Tim Burton.
Without hesitation I said yes, and the work you see below is the result of that. The two photos directly below were used throughout the project, followed by the character that Tim Burton created based off of my images. Then, you can see the “HELICOPTER” single cover art that was created with my image, followed by some examples of where the photos were used through products or signage.
I also included the music video of the track “WHISKEY / BLACK DEMARCO” at the bottom of the page, as it is a favorite of mine & truly shows how creative Tim Burton & A$AP Rocky were with the assets they had. They created an entire animated world based around photos. Extremely innovative & incredibly done.
This project was nothing short of incredible & it’s a blessing to have had the opportunity to be a part of history.

A$AP Rocky and his team created a character for multiple different real photos of A$AP over the last few years. Tim Burton hand drew each character and created this character “GR1M” based off of my image.
GR1M can be seen in the bottom left corner of the main cover art & on a multitude of signs, billboards, and packaging. To me, he is the character that really captures the incredible rage & chaos of A$AP Rocky’s performances.
The other characters created for the album by Tim Burton were Mr. Mayers, Shirthead, DUMMY, Babushka, and Rugahand.
