In late 2024, I joined the creative team behind Chicago artist D2X’s EP The Hunger Era, a 7-track project packed with visual and thematic intention. I handled all of the project’s press photography, which ended up being featured on Spotify’s official “Fresh Finds” playlist. I also designed title cards for each of the EP’s visualizers, directed by Christian Vergara. I then turned those visual narratives into full-scale comic book-style poster covers - blending my photography skills with my design skills to reflect the energy of each track.

Beyond the visualizer & photo work, I also led the design and packaging for both vinyl and CD formats of the EP. To top it off, I created two original clothing pieces for the rollout as well. I made a black t-shirt featuring a front and back design styled like a comic strip using visuals & photography from the project, as well as a bold blue hoodie - D2X’s signature look - featuring a custom superhero-style illustration of him breaking through bricks, paired with the full tracklist on the back.

This project was one of the most layered and collaborative I’ve been a part of to date - tying together music, merch, design, and storytelling into one cohesive body of work.
