THE COLOR BLUE

In March 2021, I had the chance to work with D2x and director Chris Vergara on the short film for The Color Blue, D2x’s debut project as a music artist. I handled photography throughout the video shoot, which centered around revisiting D2x’s high school to reflect on the album’s process and personal roots. The shoot felt more like a homecoming than a production—walking the same hallways he grew up in made the storytelling feel real and grounded.

This shoot was one of the first projects that showed me how powerful visuals can be when they align with an artist’s story. Everything about this release felt intentional and true to who D2x is—and it marked the start of many future collaborations together.
