In May 2025, my friend Zach who goes by the music artist name rons was getting ready to drop an EP of music called Red Carpets. It would be the second of three EP’s with a color in the title. The first release was titled Green Waters. He wanted to continue the trilogy with me, asking that I handle the photography and graphic design for the project.

While Green Waters was an EP about friends and not growing up to fast, Red Carpets was all about love and relationships. It was created with our friend that goes by the artist name of Yoggi. We had met Yoggi a few years prior to this project out in Arizona. The rest is history.

We had a few iterations of how we wanted the cover and creative direction of this project to look, but ultimately the cover ended up being shot at the Knight Rise exhibit by James Turrell in the Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art located in Arizona. The circles, the red, and the concrete walls + lighting gave us an incredible canvas to make something that was truly eye-catching. A little graphic design magic to add in the red carpet at the bottom, and the end result of the cover / tracklist was born.
