In mid July 2025, music artist Ausar reached out to me and asked if I would be interested in working with him to shoot some visuals & create a cover art for his upcoming single “Good Morning America” which was set to release at the end of the month.

We were able to lock in with the Chicago studio Dodd Camera once again & really wanted to experiment with the lighting for this shoot. We hooked up the camera with a couple wireless flashes & the outcome was remarkable. I really wanted to emphasize the colors in this shoot, so we opted to go with a dramatic red-ish orange, a sharp light blue, and then had some dramatic black & white lighting as well to round things out.

The video content we filmed for the song also looked flashy (literally) as we had a red strobe light going in the background of Ausar rapping.

The cover art seen above was taken from a frame in Ausar’s music video for Good Morning America shot by Chicago director @law.mahone. Since the song itself has a rather comedic approach with the bars “student loans ain’t getting paid, even if I made me a ‘mil right now I ain’t giving one cent to Sallie Mae” we opted to remake the old comedy central logo into the Good Morning America logo.
